anw, back from Sibu Island trippy (ctfxc!) and that place is ever so wonderful.
so on the first day, we(there were 16people) took a boat (I’M ON A BOAT) from Mersing to Sibu island. Checked in, had a LONG time deciding who took which houses. I ended up sharing a room with my cousin. s'all fine. the day was getting preeeety hot so i changed and went to the beach (the chalets were infront of the beaches, but w/e) and took a long swim. after dinner, we went fishing! (more like cuttlefish-ing) didnt catch any but my uncle’s shirt got ‘jizzed’ by the black ink that the squids had. totally uncalled for, man. it was so dark that we couldnt see what we were fishing but there was a light to shine at the jetty where we fished.
day2 is so much more btter, I tell ya. we went islandhopping (thats what it was called but we just went to pulau kukus >_>) and wasted our time snorkelling. HAY IT WAS FUN. Took quite a while to get used to breathing thru the mouth, but atleast I saw tonsa fishes D: went back, changed & took a nap. AT 4+ THE ELECTRICITY WAS CUT OFF AND IT WAS SO HOT I had to fan myself.
the final day :( was pretty quick. woke up and got ready by 9. the boat left at 10 but i was waaay prepared (packed the night before, laid the clothes i needed, lol) so i was goin’ round helping the others pack. we left and reached mersing by 10.17am. Had to store the bags in the car and we went to another jetty for awhilek and the dads wanted to fish but their rods were not that ready so they used whatever they could get. no fishes tho. then we head off to my dad’s colleague’s durian/mangosteen orchard and I didnt eat the durians since I don’t like em at all. It rained and some of them went to see birds (idk wth) then we drove all the way to Myfriend restaurant and my dad in the car was like 'we should get a membership card from myfriend since this is the third time we’ve been here since may 09’. the food there was kickass as awesome, with a little nifty changes here and there (good changes) andwatched Wild Hogs on the tv provided. Went back to SG and dropped some people off, then went home.
tl;dr cut short: i had fun.
